Tribe Nine, anyone?

The anime for "Tribe Nine" came and went last year. The game is finally entering a closed beta this month, and an English release is confirmed for iOS, Android, and Steam.

And I admit that I haven't really been feeling all that interested since the initial reveals. I watched one episode of the anime, but I wasn't feeling it. I meant to keep going or go back to it, but as of this point? I haven't.

I'll still try the game, but at the end of the day, no matter how "extreme" or gang-war-based it is, it's still centered around baseball. And baseball doesn't exactly fill me with hype, I'm sorry to say. :P

However, this is still a Tookyo Games' joint, so obviously there are Danganronpa/Zero Escape alumni involved. That mean I'm still kind of interested—particularly in the game side of the project. I do love me some action RPGs, after all, which is the genre they're putting this title into. Kodaka is listed as being on the staff behind the game in some vague capacity, and Rui Komatsuzaki's character designs are recognizably on display.

But what about you all?

Miyu Otogawa, the Ultimate Virtual Singer. Heavily inspired by the song Anonymous M by Pinocchio-P, Miyu is a android created with the purpose of being used to create songs. Her fame is similar to Miku's, only that she has her own level of sentience. She's also meant to be a subtle foil to Kiibo, as while he was rather human-like despite being a robot, Miyu herself doesn't yearn for any real understanding or connection of humans. She knows she's only kept around for her voice, so she sees humans like humans see cockroaches: worthless little bugs that'll eventually die while robots/mechanical beings reign supreme.

Gavin barely gets a second to catch his breath. Aftershocks are still washing over him in pleasant waves, as Connor gracefully moves up along his naked body and searches his mouth. The kiss is sensual, full of love and affection, and Gavin can taste himself on the android's tongue and beautiful lips. His heart is still racing inside his chest, having a hard time to calm down, when Connor breaks the kiss and huddles against him. Afterwards the android is always comparable to a cat, trying to get even closer to him than it is physically possible. So clingy, Gavin loves it. He has missed something like this for so long! He feels warm and comfortable, while outside the window the snowstorm is still raging remorselessly. A pleasent heaviness fills his body and Gavin longs for nothing more than to fall asleep in his lover's arms. No one speaks. For a while there is only his own breathing and heartbeat filling the almost dark room with sound and Gavin is close to nodding off, when Connor's low voice eventually breaks the silence.

“How does it feel?”

Gavin grumbles, forcing himself back to the surface of consciousness, fighting badly against the strong urge to just give in to the tiredness.

“Hm? How does what feel?” he asks drowsy after several seconds have passed, not really feeling capable of having an actual conversation right now. His lids are so heavy.

“Your orgasm.” Connor clarifies without any hesitation or shame.

“What?” Gavin groans, processing his boyfriend's question. His left hand moves up to cover his face in despair. He is perfectly aware that a one word answer won't satisfy the curious android. Amazing or great won't do the magic. Gavin knows that as sure as he knows that he should be sleeping since at least two hours. It's not like they haven't been through this before. Why does Connor always come up with his I wanna learn more about the human species questions at the most inappropriate moments? “Fuck, Con! It's almost 2 am!”

“I'm sorry, it's just -” the fingertips of the android's right hand softly caress his collarbone, “you look so indescribably beautiful while experiencing one. I wish I could understand how it feels for you.”

Gavin feels heat of embarrassment rising to his cheeks at the thought of Connor watching him carefully while climaxing, knowing that the darkness of the room does nothing to hide his blushing from the android's advanced vision. He sighs a little bit desperate.

“Goddammit, Con, how long have you been holding back this question?”

There is no answer, not even a sound, but Gavin can feel the smile that starts lifting the android's beautiful lips.

“A while.” Connor confesses.

“And you thought this was the best moment to finally ask it?!”

“Sometimes my curiosity wins over logic. I'm sorry, Gavin. I let you sleep.” his voice is honest and gentle and he tries to snuggle even closer.

Gavin bends his head to kiss the android's hair, before he lets it sink back onto the pillow.

“Tomorrow, alright?”

“Alright.” Connor agrees and Gavin knows his boyfriend won't forget about it.

Too tired to worry about all the embarrassing, too detailed questions that will await him in the morning he closes his eyes. In less than a minute he falls asleep.
